A. Ruth Verick

LEICESTER; Mrs. A.Ruth (McCaffrey) Verick 68 of 262 Main St., Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died suddenly at home Wednesday Dec. 10. She leaves her husband of 41 years, John H. Verick, two daughters Pamela Verick Stone and her husband Geoffrey C. of Alexandria, Va. and Christine M. Verick of Cambridge, two brothers Joseph A. McCaffrey of Northboro and Lawrence McCaffrey of Tacoma, Wa., a sister Carolyn A. Frost of Auburn, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Verick was a medical coder at UMASS Memorial Healthcare in Worcester for the past 8 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church where she was a former CCD teacher for many years. She graduated from St. Peter's High School in Worcester and was a past member of the Leicester Mother's Club. She enjoyed baking and gardening. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph A. and Agnes (Rantamaki) McCaffrey.

The funeral will be held Saturday Dec. 13 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St.,Leicester. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester.
