Aaron E. Nelson

CHERRY VALLEY: Aaron E. Nelson, 48, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, after being stricken ill at home.

He is survived by his children, Joshua, Jillian and Joseph Nelson; his parents, Roger and Candy (Thompson) Nelson; his brother, Andrew Nelson; his sister, Amanda Nelson & husband Scott Durham; two aunts, Susan Jorritsma and Sandy Nelson; an uncle, Greg Nelson; two nieces, Sarah and Ava; and several cousins. He is predeceased by his wife Dawn (Benjamin) Nelson and his aunt Jane Nelson.

Aaron was born in Worcester and lived his entire life in Cherry Valley. He was a graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School and attended Becker College. He worked as a plumber and pipefitter. In his youth, he enjoyed playing soccer. He was also an avid fisherman.

A Memorial calling hour will be held from 11a.m. to Noon with a service at Noon on Thursday, Oct. 17th in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
