Alpha O. "Lee" Leno Jr.

Alpha O. "Lee" Leno, Jr., 78 of 16 Lyford Rd., died Monday, June 21 at Sandalwood Care & Rehab Center in Oxford.

He leaves his sister Lorraine Davis of Sutton, his longtime friend, Robert Gardner of Spencer, several nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Leno was an assistant manager at the Spencer Sunoco Station for many years until 1981 and then was a "runner" for Lamoureux Ford in E.Brookfield before retiring.

He was born in Sutton, the son of Alpha O. and Florence (Saucier) Leno, Sr., and lived here most of his life. He served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Worcester Chapter of Disabled Veterans.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the service on Friday from 9 to 10a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
