Anita C. Metterville

BROOKFIELD; Anita C. (Young) Metterville, 85, of 4 Deer Run, died Sunday, May 17 at Quaboag on the Common in West Brookfield.
She leaves her husband of 64 years, Henry A. Metterville, Jr., four sons; Dennis N. Metterville and his wife Dorothy of No. Brookfield, Gary H. Metterville and his wife Debra of East Brookfield, David L. Metterville and his wife Amy of No. Brookfield, Scott H. Metterville of Brookfield, two daughters; Christine A. Metterville of West Brookfield, Crystal J. Lachambre and her fiance Mark Dalve of Brookfield, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a daughter Patty A. Metterville in 2001.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Edmond & Celima (Girouard) Young, Sr.
Mrs. Metterville was a machine operator for 20 years at Owens Illinois in Worcester, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Parish in Spencer and loved camping, traveling and spending time with her family.
Following cremation burial of ashes will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, Young Road, East Brookfield, MA. 01515. The J.
