Anna Najarian

Anna Najarian, 91, died Friday May 16, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Worcester. She leaves one sister Pauline Naroian and her husband Edward of Whitinsville and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers Arsen and Armen Najarian and sisters Alice Foley and Helen Rusz.

Born in 1922 in Worcester, daughter of Harry and Dichranouhi (Jamgochian) Najarian, she graduated from South High School. After going to trade school, she worked as a tool designer/draftsman at Norton Company in Worcester, Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut and Sanders Associates in New Hampshire. She later worked as a bookkeeper in Washington DC. Anna was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed all forms of needlework.

At her request, no public funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 in memory of Anna Najarian.
