Anna (Rudis) Rose, 94, of 36 Heritage Road and formerly of Leicester died Friday, Sept. 11 in the Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness.

Her husband of 42 years Jesse E. Rose died in 1977. She leaves two daughters Jadvyne "Jerri" E. Trainque and her husband Victor of Brimfield, Sharyn A. Petkus and her husband Albert of Sutton with whom she lived, a sister Jadvine Thoren of Seattle, WA, 8 grandchildren Denise Masse, Linette Warren, Brian Trainque, Michelle Palmer, Neil, Adam, Beth & Todd Petkus, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by two brothers Frank and Algurtis Rudis.

Mrs. Rose was born in Worcester daughter of Adam and Anna (Aldonis) Rudis. She graduated from North High School in Worcester. She was at one time a Librarian at the former Cherry Valley School and the Worcester Boys Club. She was a member of St. Pius X Church in Leicester. She lived in Leicester for 54 years before moving to Sutton in 2003. She had a passion for art and reading and loved her time spent with family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff of Christopher Heights in Marlboro and the Life Care Center of Auburn.

The funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 14 from MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday from 4:00-6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tri-Valley Elder Services, 251 Main Street, Webster, MA 01570
