WORCESTER: Anne Noonan
Celebrating a Life Well Lived
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anne Noonan (Auntie) on May 20,2025. Anne passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Anne was born in Worcester, MA. The daughter of Dennis and Nora (McCarthy) Noonan. She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved brothers William, John, and Thomas Noonan and a niece Patricia lannotta. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, grand and great grandnieces, and nephews, who she treated as her own.
Anne was a proud graduate of Ascension High School and was involved with the alumni association. Upon graduating high school, she began her successful career as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, now known as AT&T. After receiving promotion after promotion, Anne ended her 40-year-old career as the first female district manager in the New England Region.
Anne's deep and unwavering Catholic Faith was paramount in her life. She was a 60-year parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary, Worcester, where she attended Mass weekly. Donating was an important part of Anne's life. She belonged to many charities and was a member of the First Friday Women's Club, The Pioneers Association, and the Guild of Our Lady of Providence. Through her charities, she tried to make the world a better place for future generations.
Family meant the world to Anne and was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones especially during the holidays. She was the bright light in the room. Anne enjoyed traveling and visited many countries throughout Europe and Asia as a young woman. In her later years, she cherished her yearly Cape Cod vacation and her winter trips to Florida.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Brookdale Assisted Living East for taking such wonderful, loving, attentive care of Anne. A special Thank-you to the staff for making Anne feel loved, safe, and cared for every day, especially during her period of declining health. The family will be forever grateful.
Anne (Auntie to her family) lived a great full life. Your Family will miss and love you forever.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 30th in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 23 Fales Street, Worcester, MA. Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, May 29th from 5-7 PM in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anne's name to Our Lady of the Rosary Memorial Fund, 23 Fales St., Worcester, MA 01606.
