Astrid Dix

WORCESTER: Astrid M. (Johansson) Dix, 82, of 485 Grove St., died Tuesday, April 15 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Norman L. Dix who died in 1994. She leaves two sons John N. Dix and his wife Margaret of Leicester and Gary J. Dix and his wife Mara of Jefferson, three grandchildren Karina Levesque, Zachary Harvard and Sarah Dunlevy. A son Richard N. Dix of Worcester died in 1969.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Johan and Esther (Augustson) Johansson and lived here all of her life.
Private services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers, and donations made to a charity of choice. MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is directing arrangements.
