Barbara M. (Albro) Wentworth

SPENCER: Barbara M. (Albro) Wentworth 101, of Charlton Rd., died Sunday, Dec. 25 at UMASS Memorial/Belmont St., Worcester.
She was the wife of Lyle F. Wentworth who died in 1993. She leaves her son L.David Wentworth and his wife Beverly of Spencer, a sister Natalie Gagen of Leicester, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Kenneth Wentworth in 2012, a brother David J. Albro, sisters Nellie Langevin, Irene Mardigan, Evelyn Hodgerney and Sylvia Lamothe.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Mellon and Elizabeth (Bigwood) Albro.
Barbara was a payroll clerk at Cincinnati Milacron Corp. in Worcester for 23 years, retiring in 1980. Previously, she was the purchasing agent at the former Allen Squire Shoe Co. in Spencer prior to its closing. She was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church of Spencer. She enjoyed spending time with family and close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 11:30 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Rte. 31 in Spencer. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
