Barbara A. Chapman

Barbara A. (Carey) Chapman, 73, of 68 Church St., died peacefully after a long illness, with her family at her side on Thursday, December 22 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

She leaves her husband of 43 happily married years, Hollis L. Chapman, her son Brian Chapman and his wife Stacey of Ashburnham, her daughter Kelly A. Kaminski and her husband Keith of Sturbridge, her brother William and his wife Jean of Calif., her beloved grandchildren Colton, Caitlin and Brendan Pinard, and a step son Stephen Chapman of Northfield and a step daughter Sandra Bernard of Dudley as well as several nieces and nephews..

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of William F. and Florence (Crapeau) Carey. She enjoyed spending time at Crystal Lake, Vt. and travelling with her husband. Barbara will be happy to rejoin her parents as well as her most beloved cat "Smudgie" in Heaven.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 26 from 5 to 7p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON UNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A graveside service for Barbara will be held on Friday, Dec. 30 at 1pm. in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer.
