Barbara S. Daley

Barbara S. (Perry) Daley 87 of 11 Pleasant St., died Saturday, October 30th at the Meadows of Leicester after an illness. She leaves a daughter, Jacquelyn D. Young of Charlton, a brother, Robert Perry of No. Oxford, with whom she lived, 3 grandchildren; Betsy Gaucher, Mark Young, Susan Desy, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Charles Perry and a sister, Elizabeth Taft. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Charles & Esther (Ackley) Perry. She was a graduate of Leicester High School and the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a a nurse at Worcester State Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1982 and previously worked as an industrial nurse at Worcester Taper Pin. She was a member of the Industrial Nurses Associtaion and the Christ Episcopal Church in Rochdale. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 3rd at 10 a.m. in Christ Episcopal Church, 1089 Stafford St., Rochdale. Burial will be in Gore Cemetery, No. Oxford. There are no calling hours.
