Barbara A. Dalton

Barbara A. (Shepard) Dalton, 75, of 1279 Main St., died Wednesday, July 2 at the Meadows of Leicester after a long illness with Polio.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Charles H. Dalton, two sons; Charles F. Dalton and his wife Frances of Spencer, Michael R. Dalton of Leicester, a daughter, Dianne Dalton Budney and her husband Stephen of Auburn, a brother Paul Shepard of Leicester, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Virginia Shepard Hannen.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Fayette & Grace R. (McGuire) Shepard and has lived here since 1959. She was a member of St. Pius X Church in Leicester. The family would like to send a special Thank You to all the wonderful nurses and care givers throughout the years.
The funeral will be held Monday, July 7 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St.,Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
