LEICESTER: Barbara F. (Robinson) Flagg, 88, of Leicester, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Charles J. Flagg and her son, James P. Flagg.
She leaves her children, Catherine Borowski and her husband, David of FL, Robert Flagg and his wife, Shirley of AZ, Mary Hyland and her husband, Robert of Leicester, and Cynthia Garabedian and her husband, Richard of Leicester; her siblings, Richard Robinson and Herbert Robinson, Jr., both of Paxton, Rose Cove of Leicester, Florence (Babes) Pervier and her husband, Paul of Hubbardston and Marion Belhumeur of Auburn; and her sister-in-law, Harriet (Cookie) Robinson of Worcester; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Leonard Robinson and Ella Reardon.
Barbara was a teacher in the Leicester Public Schools for nearly 25 years, and received her master's degree from Clark University. She was a member of the ladies guild and sponsor of the school ski club. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, reading, watching sports on TV, snow and water skiing. She looked forward to lunch and crafting with her sisters and hosting at "the camp". She also amazingly obtained her pilot's license.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 10AM in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H Putnam Rd Extension, Charlton. Please meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow in St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 2 to 4PM in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either: Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or to the American Red Cross, PO BOX 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.
