Barbara P. (Vancelette) Cunningham

LEICESTER; Barbara P. (Vancelette) Cunningham, 84, of 154 Rawson St., died Thursday, October 8 in her home.

She was the wife of Alan P. Cunningham, Jr. who died in 1971.

She leaves two sons; Alan P. Cunningham III and his wife Sheila of North Carolina, Gary L. Cunningham and his wife Nicole of Idaho, twin daughters; Arlene L. Tatro and her husband Arthur "Butch", Alane L. Anderson and her husband David, both of Spencer, a sister Louise S. Doe of Leicester, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a special sister-in-law Nancy Mann of Rutland.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Napoleon & Effie (McGlauflin) Vancelette.

Mrs. Cunningham was a secretary for 26 years working for various businesses in the area, retiring in 1997.

She was a graduate of Leicester High School and received her Associates Degree from Becker College in Worcester.

She attended the former Leicester Federated Church for 50 years and taught Sunday school there for many years. Her family was everything to her.

At the families request Funeral Services are private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
