Bernard F. Sterczala

OXFORD: Bernard F. Sterczala, 75, of Virginia Lane died Friday, August 9 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.

He leaves his son Stephen J. Sterczala and his fiancée Cindy Reisbeck of Spencer and his longtime companion Jeanette M. Merulla of North Oxford.

Mr. Sterczala was born in Dudley, son of Francis and Mary (Antkoviak) Sterczala. He was a machinist at Smith Valve in Westborough before retiring. He was a member of the Chester P. Tuttle Post 279 American Legion in Auburn. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 30 at 3:00 PM in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing arrangements.
