Betty M. Barre

Betty M. (Arsenault) Barre, 78, of 68 Reservoir Street and formerly of Spencer, died Friday, Jan. 22 in Overlook Masonic Healthcare after an illness.

Her husband Harvey W. Barre, Sr. died in 2005. She leaves a son Harvey W. Barre, Jr. of West Brookfield, three daughters Gale M. Leas and her husband Richard of North Brookfield, Lois E. Leas and her husband Gene of Warren, Dawn E. Laporte of Spencer, four brothers Paul Arsenault and his wife Susan of Spencer, Kenneth Arsenault and his wife Maxine of Spencer, Michael Arsenault and his wife Mary Anne of Wells, Maine, Donald Arsenault of McClean, Virginia, a sister Linda Rogers and her husband Albert of Spencer, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by a daughter Lynn F. Barre who died in 2002, and two brothers Gordon & Edward Arsenault and a sister Phyllis Bondanza.

Mrs. Barre was born in Spencer, daughter of Edward and Florence (Fairbrother) Arsenault. She graduated from David Prouty High School.

At the families request funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing funeral arrangements.
