Brian P. Davis, 47, of 6 Hyland Avenue, died Sat. Sept. 17 in
Umass Memorial Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 25 years Paula A. (Stinchfield) Davis, a son Justin
T. Davis of Leicester, a daughter Melissa L. Davis of Leicester, two
brothers Robert C. Davis of Wethersfield, CT and Hubert W. Davis, Jr. of
Shrewsbury, an uncle Ernest Davis of Worcester and several nieces and
nephews.

Mr. Davis was born in Worcester son of Hubert W. and Helen E. (Lapinski)
Davis. He lived most of his life in Worcester before moving to California
and then settling in Leicester.

He graduated from North High School and the College of the Holy Cross and
attended graduate school at Indiana University. He was a Capital Giving's
Officer at the College of the Holy Cross and previously worked in Admissions
at WPI, Becker College and UCLA. He was an active member of the Pancreatic
Cancer Alliance and was instrumental with their slogan "Don't Give Up The
Fight".

He enjoyed playing basketball and was an active referee at many area
schools. He loved music, his home and family.

The funeral will be Wednesday Sept. 21 from MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME,
1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Paul's Cathedral, 15
Chatham St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park.
Calling hours are Tuesday 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. Please omit
