Carol A. McGrath

LEICESTER: Carol A. (Germain) McGrath, 69, died Saturday, June 13th, surrounded by her family, at UMass Memorial Medical Center-Memorial Campus, Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 50 years, Timothy J. McGrath, two sons, Michael S. McGrath and his wife Erika of Exeter, RI., Mathew C. McGrath and his wife Eleanor of Leicester, a daughter, Erin L. McGrath of Worcester, a sister, Susan Duff and her husband Bob of Saratoga Springs, NY., her sister-in-law, Patricia Leith of West Boylston, her grandchildren; Hailee, Skyla, Evann, Shayna, Rayna, Autumn, Lily, Cole, Brady, Owen, Keira, Margaret and several special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lisa Germain in 2017. 

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph & Margaret (Bushee) Germain. She was a graduate of Leicester High School, Class of 1974 and graduated from Salter Secretarial School, she then attended Westfield State College where she was on the dean's list. Carol worked for the Town of Leicester doing secretarial work, retiring in 2015. After retirement she worked part-time for six years at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton as a bookkeeper. She was a former longtime member of the Leicester Mother's Club and a volunteer for the Leicester Little League.

Funeral Services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton are private and at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
