Carol J. (Rice) Dube

AUBURN; Carol J. (Rice) Dube, 65, of 10 Stoneville Hgts., died Tuesday, October 20 at the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester.

She was the wife of Joseph M. Dube who died in 1994.

She leaves a daughter Michelle L. McCabe and her husband Matthew of Charlton, a son Joel J. Dube of Auburn, two sisters; Kathleen Touy'e and Patricia Plouffe both of Arizona, two grandchildren; Devin and John McCabe of Charlton and nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Eileen Atamiau of Charlton.

Born in Cambridge, VT she was the daughter of Thomas C. & Pauline (Bouchard) Rice.

Mrs. Dube worked in the housekeeping department of St. Vincent Hospital for five years, retiring in 2002.

She was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester. She enjoyed painting and doing word search books and her beloved pets. She was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, October 24 at 10 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext. in Charlton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Worcester VNA Rose Monahan Hospice Center, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608. The J.
