WORCESTER: Charles E. Dombroski, Sr., 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida.
Born on October 22, 1934, Charles honorably served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War, a role he took great pride in. Following his military service, he worked in the textile industry while also dedicating time to his passions and community. An avid bowler and dart league player, he found joy in friendly competition. He also made a lasting impact as president and coach of a Little League baseball team in Worcester, where he helped shape young athletes.
In his later years, Charles enjoyed visiting internet cafes in Florida, watching westerns, and spending time coloring. His presence brought warmth to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Bruce & Kathleen of Florida, Brian & Rose of Worcester, Michael & Carol of St. Thomas, VI, and Thomas & Laura of Auburn. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marion Foster Dombroski; his son, Charles Dombroski, Jr.; his daughter, Patti Ann Dombroski; his granddaughter, Patti Ann Dombroski; as well as five sisters and two brothers. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Memorial Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
