Chester A. Leasot,90, of 61 Conestoga Trail, died Friday Feb. 9
at the Meadows of Leicester following a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 66 years, Doris E. (Bourbeau) Leasot, a son Frederick
"Rick" Leasot and his wife Carole, a grandson Bryan Leasot all of Charlton,
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Leasot was a terminal manager for St. Johnsbury Trucking Co. in
Shrewsbury, where he worked for 19 years, retiring in 1978.
He was an Army Aircorps veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific. Chester,
was a member of the American Legion Post 138 in Spencer and former Adjutant
and Finance Officer, Vice President and Board Director of Wagon Wheel Mobile
Home Park Assoc., member and past President of Brookfield Senior Citizen
Club, and St. Joseph's Church.
Born in Chester, Ma., he was the son of Frederick F. and Mae S. (Santon)
Leasot. He graduated from Chester High School.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's
Church, 10 H.Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow in Central
Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 7p.m. in the funeral
home.
