Claire A. Menard

Claire A. Menard,90, formerly of 119 Mechanic St., Spencer died
Saturday, Jan. 19 at Blaire House in Worcester.
She leaves a brother Albert Menard and his wife Emilia of Worcester, a
sister Louise E. Dion of Spencer and several nieces and nephews. She is
predeceased by a sister Rita A. Allen and a brother Oscar Menard, Jr.
Claire was a registered nurse for many years and owned and operated Lincoln
Hill Manor Nursing Home in Spencer before retiring in 1973.
She was born in Spencer, the daughter of Oscar and Lina (Gendreau) Menard.
She graduated from David Prouty High School and Bellevue Hospital School of
Nursing in New York City, where she was a member of its' Alumni Association.
She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10a.m. in Our Lady of
the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester
County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral on
Tuesday from 8:45 to 9:45a.m. in the funeral home.
