LEICESTER: Constance G. (Roland) Macfarland,86, of Leicester, died Saturday, April 4th at Shrewsbury Nursing Home, Shrewsbury.  Her husband of 57 years, Lawrence R. Macfarland, Jr. in 2022. She leaves her brother; Robert C. Roland, Jr. and her niece and caretaker Suzanne Macfarland of Worcester. She is predeceased by a sister; Harriet Roland. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Robert and Constance (Zemaites) Roland.

Connie was educated through Worcester Schools. She spent 4 years in the US Navy from 1959-1963. She was employed by Morgan Construction Co. from 1963-2002 before her retirement. She was a member of the Leicester Red Hat Society and the Spencer Fish & Game Club. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking and traveling.

Above all, Connie loved and cherished her husband and family and will be deeply missed by all.

A graveside service for Connie will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 1 p.m. with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to Veterans, Inc., 6 Sheridan St., Worcester, MA 01610.
