Cynthia L. "Cindy" Boisjolie

SPENCER: Cynthia L. "Cindy" (Prouty) Boisjolie, 78, died Thursday, October 8th at UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester. She leaves her husband of 46 years, Armand E. Boisjolie, two daughters, Michelle A. Muise and her husband Jason of Spencer, Amanda E. Comptois and her significant other Justin Laroche of Putnam, CT., five grandchildren; Hannah Morse, Cameron and Colin Dube, Reilly Comptois, Addison Muise and her uncle, Donald Strader of Oxford.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Donald & Hazel (Strader) Prouty. Cynthia was a teacher for 36 years, retiring in 2005. She graduated from Oxford High School, received her bachelor's degree from Framingham State and took night classes at Worcester State in order to obtain her master's degree in teaching. She taught at the Mary R. Fisher Elementary School in North Grosvenor Dale, CT.

At the family's request funeral services and burial in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer are private.
