Daniel Birtz

Leicester - Daniel K. Birtz, 54, passed away on February 18,2023 at his parents home under Hospice Care.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Nancy (Dufresne) Perkins and the late Alfred V. Birtz, and later attended Bay Path Vocational High School. He leaves his mother Nancy and her husband James Perkins of Rochdale.
He is survived by his son, Jordan Birtz and his wife Sabrina and a granddaughter Stevie Rose . He was so happy and proud to be a Grandpa.
He leaves 2 sisters; Tracy Hollyer and her husband Mark of Leicester and Kelly Giguere and her partner Corey of Princeton.
Two nieces, Jealousy and Jemma and three nephews, Zak, Dominik and Tate, a half sister Lisa Birtz and half brother Alfred Birtz,Jr of Maine. Several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Daniel made friends easily. He had a great sense of humor and never lost it up to the end.
He liked to cook and enjoyed going to the ocean when he was younger.
He had a good heart and would do whatever he could to help people.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Danny's funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1163 Main St.,Leicester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
