Daniel J. Myers

SUTTON: Daniel Jon Myers,74, of Sutton, died Thursday, April 14 at his home.
He leaves his wife of 34 years, Susan A. Rice-Myers, and several cousins. He is predeceased by his brother David Myers, Jr.
Danny was owner of Myers Performance, Inc. in Worcester for over 50 years. He was a longtime member of the Hotrod Club, and NASCAR and owned a Busch series Northcar.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of David and Edith (Scally) Myers, Sr. and later graduated from South High and attended the former Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
A funeral service will be held for Danny on Monday, April 18th. at 10 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, MA 01535.
