Danny W. Burtt

LEICESTER: Danny W. Burtt 68, of 1570 Main St., died Saturday, Dec. 23 at his home.
He leaves his partner and best friend of 33 years, Terry L. Wood. His children Danny Burtt, Jr., Jess, Sara, Sharon, Pam, Lorie, Ricky and Tina, brothers Dennis, John and Billy, sisters Linda, Debbie and Joyce, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Edward Burtt.

Danny was a general contractor and owner of D.W. Burtt General Construction Co. in Leicester since 1981.
He was born in Houlton, ME., the son of William I. and Helen (Mar) Burtt. He was a longtime member of the Leicester Lions Club, served as its President for 2 terms as and hosted its annual Flea Market in front of his home for many years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling and trips to his "camps" in Maine.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date in his memory.
