David B. Liberty

LEICESTER: David B. Liberty, 79, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester died Wednesday, April 1.
His wife of 50 years, Dora M. (Keddy) Liberty died in 2006. He leaves a son David B. Liberty and his wife Kathleen of Leicester, three daughters; Donna M. Gwyther and her husband Ronald of Oxford, Deborah M. Doray and her husband Robert of Auburn and Darlene M. Sarkisian and her husband David of Auburn, six grandchildren; David & Matthew Liberty, Kevin Doray and his fiance Becky Simpson, Eric Doray, Emily & Brian Sarkisian and also his "Furry friends", Jeb and Jake. He was pre-deceased by a grandson Ronald Gwyther, Jr..
Mr. Liberty was born in Albany, New York, son of Joseph and Violet (Largesse) Liberty. He graduated from South High School in Worcester. He was a molder at Standard Foundry for almost 30 years and then worked at Astra Pharmaceutical Co. for several years before retiring. He was an avid coin & stamp collector. He loved spending time with his family and especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 7 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30 AM.
