David S. Potmesil

FISKDALE: David S. Potmesil, 87, of Fiskale, died Friday, Jan. 26th. in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He was the husband of Janet L. (Fico) Potmesil who died in 2022. He leaves his son; Edward Potmesil and his wife Mary of Fiskdale, his daughter; Kimberly Bockus and her husband George Bockus, Jr. of Windham, ME., his grandchildren; Tai and Jennalee Potmesil, Josh and Joelle Bockus, his brother; Gary Potmesil of Norwalk, CT., nieces and nephews. Dave was a pump assembler for Nash Engineering in Norwalk, CT. Born in Norwalk, CT he was the son of Stephen and Adele (Haspanar) Potmesil, graduated from Norwalk High School and later served his country with the US AirForce.
He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus #118 in Spencer.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, February 6 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer.
