Delia R. Dupuis

LEICESTER: Delia R. (McCabe) Dupuis,75, of Leicester, passed away on Friday, March 15th in Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, Ronald R. Dupuis; her son Ronald P.R. Dupuis and his wife Teresa of Proctor, VT, her daughter; Jodie Jerome and her husband Alejandro Reyes of Leicester; her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her brother; Freeman Joseph McCabe of Springfield, VT, her best friend Sister Kathy Wiinikka, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her 3 sisters.

She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of Freeman and Mary (Sherron) McCabe. She was a self-employed housekeeper for many years before retiring as a P.C.A., while caring for her grandson. She was an avid gardener and loved going for hikes with her beloved dog, Cindah. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She rode motorcycles for many years and enjoyed road trips with her fellow "chrome sisters". She was also a long-time parishioner of St. Pius X Church for over 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 4:00PM in St. Pius Church located at 1161 Main St. in Leicester. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting with arrangements.
