Dennis W. "PawPaw" White 83 of 7 Bemis St., died Monday, Sept. 6 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.He leaves his wife of 58 years, Therese C. (Tetreault) White, two sons Michael W. White and his wife Patricia of Clarkston, Mich., and Mark S. White and his wife Jane of Melrose, a daughter Patricia A. Durgin and her husband Donald of So.Orleans, four brothers Willard, Eugene, and Robert White of Charleston, Wv. and James White of St. Albans, Wv., eight grandchildren, Martin, Jason, Sybil, Gillian, Daniel, Geoffrey, Christopher and Jennifer, and three great grandchildren Isabella, Ryan and Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother Arnett White.Mr. White was the branch manager at the Auburn office of Mechanics Bank for 15 years, retiring in 1982.He served in the Army during WWII. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, and the American Legion Post 138 in Spencer. He enjoyed reading, travel, political discussions and the N.Y. Yankees.The funeral will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 60 Maple St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
