Dolores C. Belanger

LEICESTER: Dolores C. Belanger, 83, of 1073 Main Street died Saturday, April 21 in UMass Memorial Hospital after an illness.

She leaves a brother Alfred J. Belanger, Jr. of Leicester and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three brothers Raymond, Norman & Robert Belanger and five sisters Ora Paquette, Claire Sunberg, Ann O'Bannon, Theresa Bertrand and Lorraine Garcia.

Dolores was born in Worcester, daughter of Alfred J. and Hilda M. (Miron) Belanger. She worked at Viko Shoe Co. in Worcester several years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed cross-stitch. She spent many years caring for her elderly mother and babysitting for her young nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held Tuesday, April 24 from MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30 AM.
