Domenic M. Guerra

LEICESTER: Domenic M. Guerra 88, of Pleasant St., died Monday, May 19 at his home.

He leaves a brother Frank Guerra and his wife Grace of Worcester, several nephews and nieces including his nephew Joseph Guerra and his wife Lisa of Sturbridge, who was his caregiver, best friend and confident. He is predeceased by brothers Michael, Joseph and John Guerra and a sister Esther Farrantino. The family would like to acknowledge Kathy Drake for her heart warming care of Nick for the past 2 years.

Nick worked in the maintenance dept. for the City of Worcester for more than 20 years, retiring in 1991.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Angelo and Laura (Scarano) Guerra. He was a longtime member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Parish, and a former member of the Leicester Rod & Gun Club and Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Sutton. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a New England Patriots Fan.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 22 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St. Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will precede the service on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
