PAXTON: Donald E. Agnew,71, of Paxton, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, Sept. 21st. at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
He leaves behind his son; Timothy Agnew and his wife Kelty of Townsend, his daughter; Jennessa Agnew and her husband Kyle Hart of Richmond, VA, his brother; John Agnew and his wife Theresa of Spencer, his sisters; Jean Bouzan and her husband John of Natick, Patricia White and her husband Peter of Spencer, his beloved grandchildren; Aurora and Alexis Agnew, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister; Gail Lock in 2022 and her husband Dr. John Paul Lock in 2024.
Prior to his retirement, Donnie was a lifelong devoted pharmacist for several area pharmacies in Southern New Hampshire and along the Maine seacoast, where he was able to share his unparalleled charisma and compassion for those in the community.
In his younger years, Don was an avid skier and later developed a love for the waves, sand, and ocean breeze at York Beach. Don's greatest joy in life was his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time and making everyone laugh.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Nelson and Marion (Brodeur) Agnew and later graduated from David Prouty High School in 1972 and the MA College of Pharmacy, Boston in 1977.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26th. at 7 pm. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer.
