Donald R. Berthiaume Sr.

SPENCER: Donald R. Berthiaume 76, of 140 Charlton Rd., died Tuesday, Jan. 12 at home.
His wife of 49 years, Janice R. (Girard) Berthiaume died in 2014. He leaves his son State Rep. Donald R. Berthiaume, Jr. and his wife Wendy and his daughter Karen L. Berthiaume all of Spencer, his brothers Robert Berthiaume and his wife Betty of Shrewsbury and Paul Berthiaume and his wife Patti of Saugus, his sister Pauline Gaudette and her husband Richard of Worcester, his grandchildren Brent Berthiaume and his wife Shannon, Nicholas Berthiaume and Cameron Rusiecki all of Spencer, many nieces and nephews.
Don was an oil burner technician for Bemis & Hobbs Oil Co. in Spencer for 13 years, retiring in 1998.
Born in Spencer, he was the son of Leo P. and Margaret G. (Gariepy) Berthiaume and later served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services for Don will be held on Friday, Jan. 15th. at 9:30 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
