Donald A. Pelletier, 74, of 57 Valley St., died suddenly, Tuesday, Oct. 5 at home. He leaves his twin brother Ronald E. Pelletier of Webster, a sister Jean A. wife of Norman Lussier of Spencer, 6 nieces and nephews and was loved by all. A brother, Norman E. Pelletier of Spencer died in 2002.Donald had a great love and pride for his 20 years in the United States Navy. He served in Korea during the Korean War and recently received the Korean War Service Medal awarded by Korea on the 50th. Anniversary of the Korean War. His ship photos and memorabilia adorned his walls. He was an avid Red Sox fan.After his retirement from the Navy, he had various jobs in the area including being a machinist for several years. He was a 29 year member of the American Legion Post 184 in Webster and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Born in Spencer, he was the son of Eugene and Idella (White) Pelletier.The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 8, from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 7 from 5 to 7p.m.
