Doris L. Dawe

LEICESTER: Doris L. (Leduc) Dawe, 91 of Leicester died Wednesday, December 29 in her home after an illness.



She leaves three sons, Michael Dawe of Barre, James Dawe and his wife Robin of Centerville and Timothy Dawe with whom she lived; a daughter, Patricia Metterville and her husband John of Oakham; three grandchildren, Jessica (Metterville) Howe and her husband Michael, Jake Metterville and his wife Francesca, and Katie Dawe and her partner Will Russell; three great grandchildren, Nora & Quinn Metterville and Ellie Mae Russell. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna Dawe and her brother George Leduc.



Doris was born in Uxbridge, the daughter of Edward J. and Dorothy (Hewett) Leduc. She graduated from Uxbridge High School in 1948. She worked in the computer programming department at TJ MAXX Corp. for 22 years retiring in 2003. She enjoyed bird watching, computer games, crafts, and was an avid reader.



Funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester are private and at the convenience of the family. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing funeral arrangements.
