Dorothy L. Banach

SPENCER: Dorothy L. (O'Clair) Banach 69, of Ash St., died Thursday, Jan. 25 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester.
She was the wife of Anthony J. Banach, III who died in 2007. She leaves her sons Anthony J. Banach, IV of Springfield and Edward J. Banach of Spencer, her daughter Laura J. Heath of Worcester and Barbara J. Miller of Spencer, three brothers Donald and Lonald O'Clair both of Spencer and Ronald O'Clair of Worcester her sister Barbara Jean Smith of Dayton, TX, 8 grandchildren; Ashley, Amy, Brooke, Courtney, Mason, Izabella, Brittney and Madison and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Lauren and John O'Clair.
Born in Oakland, Me., she was the daughter of John and Evelyn (Clark) O'Clair.
Dorothy was a longtime bartender at the former Alpine in Cherry Valley many years ago. She loved reading and crochet.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dorothy O'Clair Banach Memorial Fund, c/o CornertsoneBank, 176 Main St., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
