SPENCER: Dorothy A. (Luszey) Keyes,90, of Spencer, died Saturday, July 18th at Quaboag Nursing & Rehabilitation, West Brookfield after a long illness. Her husband; William E. Keyes, Sr., died in 2018. She leaves her sons; William E. Keyes, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Spencer and Kenneth M. Keyes, and his wife Althea Alpine of Spencer, and her daughter Jacqueline; her sister; Ann M. Austin and her husband Harry of Spencer, three grandsons; Casey and Tyler Keyes and Nicholas Thyden and his mom Rhonda Thyden, godson, David Austin, John Austin, many nieces and nephews. She was born in Spencer, the daughter of Joseph and Rita M. (Ethier) Luszey. She is predeceased by her brother Mike Luszey and his wife Mary Ann Luszey of Washington.

Dot was a kind hearted lady with a strong faith and devotion to God. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. Dot was very close to her sister Ann and her brother Mike. They shared a special family bond. Throughout the years, Dot was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed shopping, especially on Friday nights at Spags. She was a member of Mary Queen of the Rosary. The family would like to extend a thank you to all the staff at Quaboag Nursing Home and especially to Bev and to all the nurses and caring staff.

A graveside service for Dot, will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at Noon in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Mary Queen of the Rosary Memorial Fund, 46 Maple Street, Spencer, MA 01562 in Memory of Dot Keyes. The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME is directing arrangements for the family.
