Effie G. Arrell

Effie G. (Barnett) Arrell, 79, of 70 Boyd Street in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester died Sunday, Dec. 21 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
She is predeceased by her husband Henry Arrell. She leaves three sons Robert Arrell and Mark Arrell both of Shrewsbury and Timothy Arrell of Aiken, South Carolina, a daughter Margo Gelardi-Wood with whom she lived, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Arrell was born in Millinocket, Maine daughter of Joseph and Pearl H. (Tapley) Barnett. She was an avid coin collector.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 3 at 11:00 AM at the Holland Congregational Church, 11 Sturbridge Road, Holland Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, Boston MA-NH Office, 330 Congress St, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing arrangements.
