Elaine R. Butnus

LEICESTER: Elaine R. (Jezerski) Butnus, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 20th, in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 46 years, David P. Butnus, Sr., passed away in 2005.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Christine Piscopo and her husband, Anthony of Leicester, and Laurie Socha and her husband, Christopher of Salisbury; 3 sisters, Sandra Heckman of Worcester, Christina Rabidou of Sturbridge, and Kathy Robinson and her husband, Richard of Sarasota, FL; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, David P. Butnus, Jr.

Elaine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward & Josephine (Przeniczka) Jezerski, and graduated from Leicester High School. She was the manager of the cafeteria at Assumption University for many years.

Funeral services with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester will be held privately.
