Eleanor M. Bergin

Eleanor M. (McCue) Bergin,89, of 1075 Main St., died Friday, Jan. 28 at The Meadows of Leicester.
She was the wife of Vincent J. Bergin who died in 1987. She leaves three sons James T. and his wife Judith Bergin, Dennis M. and his wife Diane Bergin all of Rochdale, and Edward B. and his wife Diana Bergin of Spencer, two daughters Mary E. and her husband Craig Eichhollz, Eleanor M. and her husband Douglas Menard all of Leicester, a half sister Geraldine Wilson of Cherry Valley, 14 grand, and 8 great grandchildren, many neices and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers James,Charles,Vincent and Richard McCue and a sister Eileen Wilson, step brothers Roy and John Shepard and step sister Mary Snook.
Mrs. Bergin graduated from Leicester High School, and was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Leicester Women's Club, Leicester Housing Tenants Assoc., and past Pres. and member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Ladies Guild.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Travers) McCue and was a lifelong resident.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1 from the MORISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10a.m. in St.Joseph Church, 759 Main St.,Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford.
