Elizabeth A. "Betty" Laflamme

NORTH BROOKFIELD: Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Wells) LaFlamme, 81, of North Main Street passed away Tuesday, March 12 in St. Vincent Hospital.

Her husband Kenneth F. LaFlamme passed away in 1984. She leaves her longtime companion Alex Miller with whom she lived, two sons Kenneth J. LaFlamme of East Brookfield and Paul F. LaFlamme and his wife Darlene of Sturbridge, three daughters Beverly A. Rivard and her husband Rick of Sitka, Alaska, Christine M. Gregoire and her husband Richard of Spencer and Jean L. Henderson of Ft. Myers, Florida, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Betty was born in Ware, daughter of Frank and Anna (Boucher) Wells. She owned and operated Betty's Home cooking in North Brookfield for many years. She was a member of the Lashaway Seniors. She enjoyed traveling and local sightseeing. "Betty Ann was loved by all who knew her because she devoted her life to bringing happiness to others and that was evident in her smile. She will be dearly missed."

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 27 at 11:00AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Elizabeth LaFlamme Memorial Fund, C/O Spencer Savings Bank, 176 Main Street, Spencer MA 01562.
