LEICESTER: Elizabeth J. (Lever) Walsh, 70, also referred to as Clara, Betty Jean and many more nick names of Leicester, died Sunday, Oct. 6th. at her home.
She leaves her daughters, Jessica L. Gillis and her husband Jeffrey and Sara E. Seaver and her husband Glenn all of Leicester, her son; Danny W. Burtt, Jr. of Chicopee, her sisters; Beverly Davis of Holden and Susan Coffey of Oxford, many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime teacher's aide at Seven Hills Charter School in Worcester, retiring in 2012, she also enjoyed working at Archway in Leicester. Liz had a love for helping disabled adults and children.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Catherine (Sottak) Lever. Following her retirement, she travelled with her sister and niece and also enjoyed cruises with her son, Danny and annual family trips to York Beach in Maine. Her pastime was crocheting, making stuffed animals she called her "creatures". Liz will live on in every heart and soul she knew as the flower child that she was.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15th from 4 to 6 p.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
