Elsie E. (Eaton) Sharon,89 of 19 Grove St., died Sunday Oct. 18 at her home.

She was the wife of Raymond Sharon who died in 1978. She leaves two granddaughters Gail L. Scearbo of Shrewsbury and Corinne A. Roy of Spencer, her sister Winifred Broughton of W.Brookfield, five great grandchildren; Jillian, Michael, Matthew, Megan and Brandon, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Bradford E. Sharon in 1980 and a brother Philip Eaton in 2002.

Mrs. Sharon was an Executive Assistant for Ludlow Papers in Ware, were she worked for 44 years, retiring in 1995.

Born in Brookfield, she was the daughter of George P. and Katherine (Gaudette) Eaton. She graduated from Brookfield High School and was a longtime member of the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church and sang in the church choir.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care given to Elsie by Jodi Brecht at her home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 10 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery, Brookfield. Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 5 to 7p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church, Upper River St., Brookfield, 01606.
