Emile G. Lamoureux

Emile G. Lamoureux,92, of 95 Maple St., died Tuesday, Jan. 4 at the Hospice Residence in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 68 years, Rita C. (Archambault) Lamoureux, a son Paul E. Lamoureux of Cambridge, a nephew Dr. Kent Lamoureux, two nieces Elaine Lorion and Raymond Archambault. A brother, Edward Lamoureux of Worcester predeceased him.
Mr. Lamoureux was the Northeast regional sales manager for Goodyear Tire Co. where he worked for 45 years, before retring in 1977.
He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion in Spencer. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and its Sacred Heart League. Emile enjoyed playing golf.
He graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer and Bentley College in Boston.
Born in Spencer, he was the son of George and Louise (Aucoin) Lamoureux and was a lifelong resident.
The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 7 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 60 Maple St., Spencer. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum in Worcester. A calling hour will be held Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Mary,Queen of the Rosary Memorail Fund, 60 Maple St., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
