Ernest W. Berard

Ernest W. Berard, 73, of 3 Stagecoach Drive and formerly of Spencer died Friday, May 29 in UMass Memorial Hospital University Campus after an illness.
He leaves a daughter Dawn M. Berard of Worcester, a brother Francis G. Berard, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Spencer, a sister Jeanette Delisle of Spencer, a grandson Jamie M. Berard of Shrewsbury, nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by two brothers Norman & Leon Berard.
Mr. Berard was born in Spencer son of Francis G. and Cecile V. (Geoffrion) Berard, Sr.. He worked at Standard Foundry in Worcester for 30 years retiring in 1995. He enjoyed playing cribbage and fishing. He was an avid bowler and was a member of several area bowling leagues. He played men's softball at one time.
A celebration of Ernie's life will be held Sunday, June 14 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Spencer Fish & Game, Mechanic Street, Spencer. The family would like you to bring photographs & memories of Ernie to the celebration. Please omit flowers.
