Evelyn M. Contestabile

SPENCER: Evelyn M. (Metterville) Contestabile, 97, of Spencer, died Monday, January 21 in UMASS Memorial-Belmont St. in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 50 years, Robert Contestabile, her son Herbert Dumore, Jr. and his wife Madeliene of N.Y., her daughter Donna vanGerven of Spencer, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her daughter Janice Leahy in 2013.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Strom) Metterville.
At her request, no funeral services are planned. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
