Frances Koneczny

Frances (Warunek) Koneczny, 82, of the Cherry Valley section of
Leicester, died Friday, July 27 at the Knollwood Nursing Center in
Worcester.
She was the wife of Walter Koneczny who died in 2005.
She leaves two sons; John Koneczny and his wife Kathleen of No. Oxford,
Stephen Koneczny and his wife Sheila of Charlton, 8 grandchildren, 7
great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Born in Hucisko Rzeszow, Poland she was the daughter of D. Antoni & Maria
(Swider) Warunek.
Mrs. Koneczny came to the United States via Tennessee in 1950 and lived in
Worcester from 1953-1966 before moving to Cherry Valley.
She was a machine operator for 17 years at Presmet Corp. in Worcester,
retiring in 1991. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in
Worcester.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 31 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of
Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be private in Notre
Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are private. Please omit flowers.
