Francis Hetherman

LEICESTER: Francis R. Hetherman,64, in the Rochdale section of Leicester, died Saturday, Feb. 3 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves three brothers Gerald M. Hetherman of Marshall, Va., David P. Hetherman of Osterville and James R. Hetherman of Webster, two sisters Ann M. Hetherman of Seoul, So.Korea and Mary E. Hetherman of Oxford, his longtime companion and best friend Judith Madsen and her children David Madsen of E.Providence,RI. and Deborah Gluck of E.Stafford, Ct., several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hetherman owned and operated Eddie's Auto & Truck Service in Leicester for the past 35 years.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Joseph and Claire (Kneeland) Hetherman. He graduated from Oxford High School and later served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Shanon-Davis Post 205, American Legion in Rochdale.
Fran, was an avid snowmobiler, golfer and drag racer and a member of N.H.R.A.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St.John's Cemetery, Worcester.
